My school reunion is next weekend.

I'm actually looking forward to it.

I'm in a good place at the moment. Happy with my life and where I'm at.

I'm looking forward to catching up with old friends. Being reminded of the old carefree me. Taking a trip down memory lane.

Bring it on.

The trickiest thing has been completing the biography for the reunion booklet. On paper, the events of half a lifetime sound rather trite and banal, when in reality it's been a rich and exciting adventure. . .

After starting an Architecture degree, completing a Town Planning degree and later going back to uni to do a Dip Ed, I finally found my calling as a high school teacher with a wonderful job at a Catholic girls school. Then promptly fell pregnant and, with the birth of my daughter in 2008, became a stay at home mum. A role I love and am most passionate about.

I married my sweetheart in 2005. Travelled abroad and all around Australia, living and working in Broome and Brisbane. We now have our little piece of country life in urban Perth, complete with chooks and veggie patch, but dream of moving to our property on the south coast, one day.
