my creative space

I've been wrestling with the crochet hook for a few months now.

Trying to master these very simple dish scrubbers.

I'm slow and all thumbs. Churning out weird wonky edged shapes with gaping holes.

I tried an online tutorial. Then a lesson from my gran. She was very patient.

After six attempts, I think I'm getting there. Finally.

... and the all reject scrubbers work just as well in the sink!

See what creative things others are up to over here.

  10. Your dishcloth looks just "dishy!" :)I've been knitting a mountain of cotton dishcloths. The "duds" (ie those where I run out of the colour cotton I'm using before I finish) end up in our sink, and you're right....they do work just as well. Thanks for sharing. Anita. xx
