moving my mum into her new house. weekend papers on the front porch. working our way through a tray of fresh peaches. a sleepover for aila and elliot. our fist night together without children in several years. watching a concert at a neighbouring winery from the paddock behind our house. chats uninterrupted. a sunday sleep in. pasties from the bakery for a rainy day lunch. my nose in a new book. visiting a friend's gorgeous new farm house. fresh out of the oven lemon tart for morning tea. sewing a spotty dress for a friend who turned three. party food and laughs with friends. long awaited rain. tired grubby happy kids.
Sounds beautiful
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely things in your weekend Rachel! The colour in those peaches is so pretty. Did you grow them? I can almost smell them from here x
