2012 | the year that was . . .

we settled into our new home. i waved my girl off to kindy. fell more in love with the steiner way. i hung out with my boy. we enjoyed busy mornings and quiet afternoons. took an impromptu trip to hawaii. we explored the south coast in our new caravan. i recharged at a week long yoga retreat. i quit facebook. i quit sugar. we had our first honey harvest. my babies got bigger. they became great playmates. i spent time sewing. i spent time on the yoga mat. sam went on a surf trip. we made a baby. i quit coffee. i quit alcohol. i dragged myself through the first months of pregnancy. i came crawling back to sugar. my brother got married. i dabbled in a bit of paid work. sam worked from home. sam worked away. we watched our baby chicks hatch and grow. we went to ballet classes. we went to playgroup. we hung out in coffee shops. my girl turned four. my boy turned two. we planted 23 fruit trees. we watched our garden grow. we surfed. we fished. we swam. we cooked. we gardened. we loved where we live.  we found a lot to be grateful for.
