these spring days. . .

there's lemon butter on warm sourdough bread. late afternoon walks to check the mailbox. constant performances from the ballerina. a dugite residing in the chook shed. trips to the city and then back again. a fox decomposing in the bush. a local art trail to enjoy. a love affair with chocolate croissants {sugar free comrades, avert your eyes}. a pizza oven to research and discuss. the daddy-o's birthday to celebrate. your wonderful natural skincare suggestions to try. a little boy who loves puzzles. meals shared with friends. a symphony of blowflies in the windows. a tired mama. dresses to sew for a new baby girl. a ruthlessly culled wardrobe. limoncello and linen water with a cup of tea. an uncle and aunt-to-be soon to return from canada. outfits to sew for an upcoming wedding. a gorgeous girl reluctant to be photographed. a sense of comfort found in returning to this space, after a few weeks away.

  14. That little dress is adorable. Did you sew it? Would you mind sharing the pattern? There's a little miss in our household who I think would like that a lot.
