that the kettle on the fire is always boiled and ready to go. a streamlined bedtime, now that the kids are sharing a room. the poisonwood bible {brilliant. read it if you haven't already}. finding space for daily yoga practice. north facing windows in the depth of winter. having my baby brother and his gorgeous girlfriend to stay. the meditative calm that is crochet. returning to the peaceful familiarity of our steiner school after the holidays. that the chooks have finally started laying again. that we have such a hands on daddy-o in our lives. sunshine after the rain.
