aloha is. . .

a state of mind

more than a salutation

for giving & spreading

living with natural sincerity

a gift that flows through us

coordinating mind & heart

seeing the goodness in others

sharing a smile for no reason

acknowledging the beauty of life

saying hello to a stranger

putting the needs of others before your own

gratitude for the abundance around us

giving without thought of return

: :

the aloha spirit was the thing that struck me most
about hawaii & its people ~ it was powerful & palpable.

here's to practicing aloha, where ever we are
xo
