in case you've ever wondered,
lucy is the chook.
a two and a half year old
isa brown
she's a social creature
likes hanging with her peeps
sneaking into the house
at any given chance
lucy has a new friend
who goes by the name of angus
(that's what you get
when you give the toddler naming rights)
we've been spending many hours
down at the chook yard this week
perched on an old chair
watching these two sort out their social order

ReplyDeleteWe have 1300 chookies but still we have none that we know and have relationships with. I think you might have inspired me to bring some into the back yard.

i love chooks! we have two isa browns and two bantams. when i get cranky with the kids i go and sit with them and watch them - they make me happy :)
