may days | around here . . .

we took a drive to a neighbouring town and enjoyed a pub lunch. we've been gardening {i stand and point, he digs and plants}. i've been sitting and knitting. i've been dipping into the leftovers from our mother's day high tea. i'm wondering how the dynamic will go when two become three. i'm enjoying flowers inside and out. there's a $5 garage sale medicine cabinet making me smile. i'm making peace with the prospect of eternal pregnancy.

  1. I was thinking of you on Monday wondering if you were in labour.

Obviously not. Come on bubba, you obviously have no idea how beautiful the family is that you're about to join!

Blessings for a beautiful birth lovely lady xx

  5. Your May days look beautiful. It's cooling off and getting fall pretty there, while it's mounting the temperature scale and getting closer to miserable here.
Here's more good vibes that that little one arrives quickly and healthy!

  6. Funny. I remember standing and pointing and even doing a bit of digging while heavily pregnant with another heavily pregnant friend. It was slow but rewarding. That cabinet was a good score. Best wishes from Wellington, NZ

  7. Sometimes they just love it in there. My boy was 15 days late. And he is beautiful and gentle and very rarely rushes :)
Your family is beautiful and the new baby is ever so lucky and loved xx

  8. Ahh yes. I went 5 full weeks over with my first (and this was taking account of my usual long cycle and my dates were correct!). The hardest part is having to explain to everyone the baby is not here yet! The labour was fine and my daughter came exactly when she was ready and due. Fortunately my midwife was from England and had experienced the same herself in the UK and knew all was well. My daughter is now 14 and still is my deep thinker who takes her time about projects. The world needs these people.

Ps... I lied to others about my due date when pregnant the second time! Only went 2 weeks over and that was when others thought I was "due". :)

Your baby is going to be truly blessed with such a family. All the best.

  14. Oh, you're still pregnant then?? Hang in there, and don't fret. Baby will come when baby comes, as one very annoying (but right) midwife said to me. Love the medicine cabinet, and gorgeous images as always. Take care, thinking of you. xx

  15. I wonder if there is a little person being cradled by you now. If you made that peace with being pregnant for eternity, surely a sign for baby to come.
    Sending you lots of love.
