she caused a stir everywhere we went.
the little girl with the blond hair, the fair skin and the blue eyes.
in the village near where we stayed, farang {foreigners} were a rare sight.
the locals took a particular liking to this one.

what a precious photo with the lady and the flowers, absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLovely memories for both!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I was a nanny in South Korea and one of my children had red hair. We used to get the same response. After a while she would never go out without a hat covering her hair. xo
ReplyDeleteThese photos are beautiful!

She is gorgeous, I can't blame them!
ReplyDeleteI had red hair as a kid, and when we went on holidays once to Hong Kong and the Philippines, I was constantly patted and touched and fawned over. My older sister, who had short dark hair, was ignored ;)
ReplyDeleteAila took great pleasure in letting Elliot know that people mostly wanted to take pictures of her and not him!
DeleteGorgeous. Lovely photos and lovely memories. And those flowers, just growing on a tree by the side of the road...incredible.
