up early with the sun. yawn. croissants with cherry jam on the deck. a morning of sun and sand at the beach. new music. new books. new outfits to parade. five adults and two smalls. our quietest in years {it was rather lovely}. dusting off the good china. everyone pitching in. prawns prepared by poppy. woodfired ham and turkey. favourite summer salads. my mum's christmas pudding. yum. dummy free {it's been a non-event}. an afternoon of sloth and gluttony. water sliding down the hill. meltdowns at bedtime. a relaxed and enjoyable day.

i hope your day was full of good things too.

ReplyDeleteIt all sounds like it should be. How lovely to see the little "fairy" and boardies clad boy. And I just realized I forgot our christmas hats this year! Probably to do with forgetting to buy bonbons, then forgetting to make them :)
ReplyDeleteLove that last photo! It sounds like a wonderful Christmas. Big congratulations on the pregnancy, 3 little ones, how wonderful. One of mine is a Taurus too :).
ReplyDeleteThat last photo is gorgeous. Your day sounds really lovely - I can't quite get my head around the idea of spending Christmas morning in the sun on the beach, but if I lived in the Southern hemisphere then I guess that's what I would do too!
