around here. . .

the baby boy is asleep in my arm. sam is busy building a cubby house in the garden. aila is still in her pajamas. it's a long weekend. we've been making kefir smoothies with blueberries and honey. we're getting the bees ready for winter. we're listening to some jazz tunes. we've had a lot of rain (104mm). the sun is shinning now. i've just been for a surf {at this spot in the picture}. i'm hoping to sneak off to yoga this evening too. i'm feeling more energetic than i have in a long while {the baby boy has given up the boob}. we've all been cheering on elliot's potty efforts. we've been talking a lot about our trip to the circus yesterday. aila has been practising her acrobatics. i'm knitting some fingerless mittens. we're having fish pie for dinner.

how about you? what have you been up to?

  2. Sounds divine... No long weekend here, but doesn't matter because I'm off to Broome on Wednesday. Currently packing, very hard to imagine wearing shorts in just a few days...

  3. I've been up to a lot and not much - if that makes sense. Always adore a peek into your beautiful world R. I hope you made that yoga class (says the yoga teacher who so rarely attends a class as a student!) x

  4. What a glorious weekend. Beautiful shot of the ocean. I'm impressed you hit the water when it would be so cold.
My weekend was a blur, entertaining friends, baking, going to the farmers makert, a bit of gardening and some crochet. We have a long weekend this weekend in SA and I can't wait.

  5. That shot of the beach is stunning! Nothing nicer than rugging up on a cold day and walking down the beach...which we will be doing next week on our little Apollo Bay holiday! Very rainy here too...I think Geelong had 58mm today! Did not stop! I enjoyed creamy mashed potatoe for lunch, left overs from tea last night! Keep warm! x

We have had a relaxing weekend of family adventures ... and we are gearing up for our holiday in the UK!

  8. What a wonderful list of stuff. Very jealous of your yoga class sneaking. Over our way, we're eating birthday cake and snuggling by the fire while the wind whips about outside x

  9. Perfect day. Don't mind if I borrow it for a few minutes? Bit work weary over here...

  10. All lovely stuff! That photo is beautiful. Here: celebrating the Queen's Jubilee, moaning about the fact that it is raining (typical British weather..), baking cupcakes, knitting and trying to amuse two small children during the wet school holidays.

  11. Oh looks divine. We have been painting, sanding and oiling the outdoor furniture. Bit of quilting and avoiding the thought of having to go to work today. X
