bath time . . .

. . . when the weather's fine.

{the bath is hooked up to an old wood chip heater
that came from the farmhouse where i grew up.
the cast iron bath came from the farm too.}

  1. Gorgeous photos, Rachel! What a great idea, hooking the bath up to the chip heater. Brings back childhood memories for me. That's how we used to heat our water up when I was growing up.

  2. That is so cool. A friend back home had a similar set up with the bath over a small fire pit.

  3. This is GORGEOUS!! It reminds me of when I was little, we were living in a caravan while dad was building our house, though our baths were in a plastic tub, this is so much more romantic!! x

  4. Oh lucky you! I am dreaming of doing this in our back yard! My Dad put the stop to my plans of pinching his old cast iron bath languishing on his block... it will happen though, I am determined to find my own cast iron bath cheaply. What gorgeous memories they create :)
