once upon a time
we called him
mellow ello.
gentle. easy. quiet.
then all of a sudden
{like someone flicked a switch}
we discover in our midst
a bashing, crashing, smashing little boy.
a boisterous and energetic
little whirlwind
rocking our peaceful home
to its very core.
hold on to your hats people,
it looks like we're in for a wild ride!
