making me smile. . .

a baby boy in nanny-made knits. surfing in the sunshine with dolphins. a house with walls. drawing and painting and chatting with my girl. counting down the days until bali. a {momentarily} clean house. teeny tiny pullet eggs. sourdough in the camp oven. field mushrooms in the backyard. a husband who likes to vacuum. clickety click season.

  1. How exciting to see your frames up. I used to wander in ours and try to picture the rooms, which seemed so much smaller until the gyprock went in. Lovely nanna knit too, by the way.

  5. I am adoring that Nana-knit!

How exciting to see your house taking shape, I don't think I would be up to building a new house, to be honest. I'm too impatient (not to mention poor!).

  9. That must be the least nanny-ish nanny knit I've ever seen. It's so awesome.

I take it that's your place. Gobsmacking views. It'll be worth the wait.

The thought of birthday drinks on your deck in November is making me smile. I'm on the fourth. Mine's a big one. x

  14. Bali?! Holy moly that will be amazing! Surfing with dolphins? Also very amazing. I saw several dolphins last weekend when we were in Clearwater, FL and I was in awe the entire time!
